Job Duties

Active US Customs Brokerage Licensed Required.

Manage all functions for existing brokerage group including P&L responsibility. Prepares and compiles documents required by federal government for discharge of foreign cargo at domestic ports. Serves as intermediary between importers, merchant shipping companies, airlines, railroads, trucking companies, and the United States Customs Service. Manage a team of people with in the Custom Brokerage group and their daily activities to include the following:

Maintain the FMC and Customs compliance for the company
Must train internal people to understand custom process
Responsible for sales and profit of the business
Responsible issue invoices for customs services
Prepare pricing and service quotations to develop formal proposals and make presentation to customers
Complete required reports and paper work

Abilities:

Must have sales skills with willingness to increase current customs business
Able to work in an ever changing dynamic environment.
Must be self-motivated and being able to enjoy challenges
Stay aware of, and communicate with network associate industry news and items which may implicate our business
Other functions as assigned

Background Requirements:

At least 2-5 years experience as a Custom Broker; active and current license
Must be college graduate and have Certified Custom Broker License
