POSITION DESCRIPTION

Food Service Produce Buyer

 

Produce Buyer

 

We are seeking an experienced Produce Buyer.  The successful candidate will be expected to perform the standard functions of an FOB/ Fresh commodity buyer which include certain west coast vegetables and fruits, east coast vegetables and berries, east coast tomatoes, and local vendors.

 

This job requires at least 3 year direct FOB buying experience, knowledge of the fresh fruit and vegetable industry, the ability to use computers and have a basic understanding of computer systems, and a basic understanding of the Food Service industry.
