Information Technology – Help Desk Administrator

Power Systems, Inc. is a leading supplier of fitness and sport training equipment and accessories. We are seeking a Help Desk Administrator to join our winning team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player committed to providing superior service.

 

Main duties are:

· Answers employee questions in person and via phone on all company supported applications.

· Determines source of computer problems (hardware, software, user access, etc.).

· Advises employees and IT staff on appropriate action.

· Serves as liaison between employee(s) and the technology department to resolve issues.

· Works one-on-one with the IT staff on application projects.

· Documents resolutions for future reference.

· Performs hardware and software installations.

· Provides on-the-job training to new department staff members.

· Provides computer orientation to new company staff.

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Ability to use personal computer with EXCEL, WORD, ACCESS, MS Project, and the Internet effectively.  Ability to operate a 10 key calculator, postage machine, fax, copier, phone, shredder, and printer.

 

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and talk or hear. The employee is required to spend a significant amount of time in front of the computer, using the keyboard and ten-key pad. The employee is also required to use the phone.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
