Export Specialist - Charleston, SC

Refer resumes to: debbiephilbin@spherion.com EXPORT SPECIALIST - TEMP TO PERM POSITION AVAILABLE IN EL PASO, TEXASA client that is a leader in freight forwarding and logistics services is expanding their operation in El Paso, Texas and hiring additonal support staff.REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: - Must be proficient in use of computers - Must be detail oriented - Speaking and writing English well - Minimum of high school diploma or GED - Must be able to perform clerical duties as well as do research and make decisions - Excellent communication skills. Will need to communicate written and verbally with individuals internal and external to Bosch. - Strong organizational skillsADDITIONAL SKILLS PREFERRED: - Experience working with an ERP system - Very good verbal and written communication skills (Spanish) - Has knowledge or work experience with export shipping/logistics - Has knowledge and/or has worked with US export requirements (Commerce and State regulations)  - Ability to speak English and Spanish - Knowledge or work experience with import compliance or Foreign Trade Zone regulationsJOB DESCRIPTION - EXPORT SPECIALIST - Review, complete and clear export shipments - Review and handle sanctioned party screening - Daily filing of export documentation - Respond to telephone and e-mail requests and inquiries concerning export shipments, export classification and documentation - Review articles being exported and assign appropriate Export control Classification Number (ECCN) - Keep updated on US export regulations - Update appropriate databases when new parts are classified - WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO SOUTH CAROLINA AND TRAIN FOR TWO WEEKS AT CLIENTS SITE IN ANDERSON, SC. TRAVEL EXPENSES, LODGING AND FOOD PAID FOR BY COMPANY. AIR TRAVEL PROVIDED.Salary - $32k - $35k.
