Product Equipment Demonstrator/Driver

Position title:  Product Equipment Demonstrator/Driver

 

Position description:  Labrie Environmental Group is looking for an energetic, self-starting, detail-oriented individual who enjoys travel to promote our refuse collection equipment by demonstrating their unique qualities to potential customers. 

 

Minimum Job Requirements: 

·        Class 3 (Canada) or Class A (US) CDL with clean driving record, subject to standard DOT regulations

·        Current passport or the ability to obtain one

·        Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check

·        Successful candidate must submit to a post offer, pre-employment physical examination

·        Good mechanical background (hydraulics, electrical, vacuum), will need to know how to perform minor repairs to equipment

·        Transport equipment between demonstrations

·        Knowledge of heavy duty equipment operation and maintenance

·        Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance

·        Excellent verbal & written communication skills

·        Keep DOT logs up-to-date

·        Ability to write detailed performance reports on demonstrations to be used by Sales and Engineering departments as well as immediate supervisor

·        Experience in sales or demonstrating heavy equipment

·        Microsoft Office proficient in Word and Excel

·        Will typically be away from home for most of the workweek 

·        Must live in the Western/Southwestern U.S.

 

Additional Skills Desired:

·        Ability to speak in Spanish

·        Microsoft Office proficient in Power Point

·        Knowledge of septic systems, interceptors, plumbing, toxic gas and closed environments.

·        Able to teach to small groups (operators)
