Average cold calls per day - 25, average follow up per day -50, use contact management database daily. Candidate must be a self-starter, competitive, driven, self motivated and available to network in Associations and Chambers throughout Houston and surrounding areas.OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENATIVEREPUBLIC WASTE SERVICES, INC. Location: Republic Waste Services of HoustonReport To: Shelley Self and Larry WheelerCompensation: TBD Summary Works daily assigned grids in assigned area to increase growth in that territory. Must sell profitable accounts and maintain monthly quota. Must manage territory through mandatory CRMS database. Essential Duties and Responsibilities – include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Must have reliable transportation to work daily to travel through out the territory· Administer and preserve all price initiatives to customers.· Prospect daily in assigned area and enter all activities in crms – call report· Attend monthly networking functions to gain potential business.· Must follow up daily by phone, fax, mail and email to increase sales funnel.· Maintain $10000-$12000 monthly in CRMS prospecting and future opportunities· Ride with sales Supervisors, Account Reps, Major Account Reps and other Outside reps on occasion· Resolve customer issues or problems; answer customer questions regarding account and services.· Coordinate customer activities with sales team to ensure smooth transactions for customers.· Responsible for customer contracts, correspondence, pricing administration, etc.· Achieve budget net sales, price increase, and customer retention goals.· Follow up on commitments with customers to ensure 100% satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications · One to two years of sales related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.· Waste Industry experience preferred.· Effective communication skills with customers.· Knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques.· Knowledge of general customer service philosophies.· Able to perform basic mathematical skills related to business use.· Able to apply judgment to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.· Strong user skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), MS Outlook. Able to learn internal sales software system.
