We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Human Resources Assistant.  The position will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources team in the areas of employment, compensation, procedures and policies, union relation, payroll and benefits.  We are seeking a strong self starter who takes initiative.

**Please note this is an entry level position.

 

Job Responsibilities include:

· Assist department with administrative duties

· Assist with employment activities including background checks, new hire paperwork, physicals and drug screens

· Complete status change forms

· Assist with offer letters and termination letters

· Assist with payroll processing and payroll reports

· Ensure compliance with all legal and corporate guidelines

· Maintain and ensure accuracy of Human Resources Information Systems

· Schedule training classes for employees

· Codes various invoices and submit for payment

· Assist with additional or special projects as assigned

· Provide coverage to the front desk receptionist

 

Job Qualifications include:

· High School diploma or GED equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Strong computer skills required

· Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Ability to work within a team environmental and handle multiple tasks
