Environmental Lab Chemist
The Environmental Lab Chemist will be responsible for the routine analysis of waters, waste soils, oils, and various sample matrixes to determine and evaluate their chemical and physical properties. You will verify samples against information established from the customer, perform spot testing, run metals to verify treatment ability and be responsible for the final coding of drums and recording lab analysis. In addition you will assist facility personnel with approval paperwork, maintain laboratory equipment and be in compliance with Federal, State and local regulations. A minimum of one year experience in an environmental lab and an B.S. Degree in Chemistry or a related science is required;. You should have a strong understanding of chemical testing and have experience with wet chemistry, AA, ICP and GC equipment. You must be proficient with wet chemistry techniques.
