Environmental Compliance Specialist

Compliance Specialist:

The Compliance Specialist assists the facility in maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, including, RCRA, Clean Air Act, NPDES, and Solid Waste programs. Specific duties include but are not limited to: conducts daily compliance inspections; maintains records in accordance with permits; ensures regulatory reporting requirements are met; performs environmental sampling and monitoring; assists with permit modifications and permit renewals as needed; conducts customer facility audits; reviews/checks incoming manifests and LDRs and help resolve problems. Prefer Bachelor Degree in science or equivalent experience. A minimum of 2 years environmental experience. Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be self-motivated.
