DSO Quality Specialist - Internal Auditor

Clean Harbors Environmental Services, ranked 5th by the Boston Globe on their Top 100 'The Best of Massachusetts Businesses 2007' and voted Company of the Year, 2006 by the Boston Business Journal is searching for an internal auditor for its DSO Team to be based at the Corporate Headquarters in Norwell, MA.

 

The  main focus of this position is to assist in the resolution of unapplied cash and credits on accounts prior to sending statements.  The Specialist will discern and pinpoint all unapplied cash and credits on accounts, and will make decisions as to how to apply cash and/or issue credits/checks to be returned to the customer. The specialist will also try and find the root cause for the unapplied cash/credit issues and bring those to the manager to rectify within the corporation.  In addition the specialist will assist in generating monthly statements and after proper review, send them to customers.

 

Ideally we are looking for a candidate that has had experience in Accounts Receivable, has a keen eye for detail and has a thorough systematic approach. Must be able to work in a team environment and be self directed. Experience with spreadsheets, and strong numerical skills required. In addition the candidate must have experience working in an office environment.

MS Office skills, as well as the ability to navigate the Internet and learn new software applications is also required.
