Customer Service Associate

Moore Disposal is a busy locally owned and operated portable toilet service and waste hauling company. We have been in business for over 17 years. Most employees at Moore are long term 5-15yrs. of employment, conscientious, dedicated individuals.  We are looking to add someone with similar goals. PLEASE READ REQUIREMENTS CAREFULLY to be considered.  Bilingual is a plus.

 

We have an immediate position open for customer service/receptionist.

 

Job description: Answer incoming customer service calls, schedule service, research service issues, communicate with sales, Accounting and dispatch departments. Write up orders for existing customers.  Accept incoming deliveries, announce visitors.  Maintains customer relationship by responding to inquiries; documenting actions. Communicating past due and service hold accounts with customers. Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.  

Records customer inquiries by documenting inquiry and response in customers' accounts.

Job Duties/Required Skills/expectations:

 

·         Answer incoming calls in timely, professional and courteous manner

·         Schedule requested services from customer in routing software

·         Strong communication skills and competent phone voice

·         Some accounts receivable background is helpful

·          Basic office functions

·         Write up new orders for existing customers

·         Strong Computer Skills-Microsoft Office Suite

·         The ability to take direction and to learn-we are looking for someone with a teachable spirit.  To not know something is fine as long as you don’t pretend that you do know it.

·         Able to communicate with others verbally and via email-we love email!!

·         Organization Skills important

·         Follow-Through and a Strong Sense of Responsibility

·         A Spanish-speaker would be a benefit, but not a requirement

·         Attention to detail very important

Punctual, dependable and positive attitude The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be passionate about helping people, be customer focused, and understand what empathy truly is. Finally, there are a few pre-requisites: 1) good tenure 2) Clear Background 3) Good credit.
