A/R Collections Specialist
NRC Environmental Services Inc, a west coast company specializing in emergency response, project services, industrial cleaning and hazardous waste services, is seeking a highly motivated person to fill a key position within our Kent, WA location’s Accounting Dept.
Applicant will be responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generate weekly aging reports in a timely manner. The candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Receives cash, checks, and /or money orders and balances receipts and posts to accounting records.
· Make daily collection calls
· Conduct account research and analysis
· Prepare and maintain various reports
· Maintain an accurate aging report
· Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments
· Send statement to outstanding customers
· Reconcile A/R to the G/L
· Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issue
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Experience should include 1-2 years of Accounting within a services oriented industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel/Word/Outlook as well as Oracle is a strong plus.
