Travel Benefits.Expanding travel management firm seeks a VIP minded corporate Travel Agent 5+ years (Sabre). Must have strong customer focus and strong International booking experience. Job Responsibilities: Make reservations as requested by travelers for air, car, hotel, rail, and ground transportation both domestic and international travel. Price reservations according to industry practices and customer contracts and policies. Strong understanding of international tariff requirements. Maintain all CRS queues as assigned by Supervisor. Strong worldwide geographic knowledge including airport codes. Ability to arrange and coordinate visas, passports and health requirements for international travelers including foreign nationals. Document PNRs according to Travel policy. Knowledge of mid / back office requirements. Understand upgrades on airline frequent flyer programs, and obtain where applicable and within client travel policy. Special projects and assignments as directed by Supervisor. Verify at the end of reservation if any profile information needs to be added/deleted. Monitor seats, waitlist up to departure. Complimentary airline, hotel or car upgrades when available. Post trip follow-up, call after trip is completed. When required, obtain destination information for client. Reconfirm tickets were properly delivered as scheduled. Confirm all frequent flyer upgrades at the appropriate time. REQUIREMENTS -5+ years agency experience in a corporate environment -Proficient CRS skills - Sabre -High School diploma -Strong knowledge of domestic and international reservations process: faring, routing and ticketing procedures. General Attributes: -Detail oriented, strong interpersonal skills, good follow through skills. -Excellent telephone verbal communicational skills -Ability to work independently -Additional travel industry training or international tariff and other training.
