We seek a Transportation Engineer (relocation possible) to perform and review transportation planning studies for our Seattle-are client, recently ranked in the top 25 of engineering companies to work for.  Highly versed in the industry, we are seeking a PE license, five years of experience in the field and a Master's in Civil Engineering.  This engineer would evaluate traffic signals, corridors and complex transportation systems while developing and implementing travel demand management (TDM) programs, neighborhood plans and traffic calming measures.   A complete benefits package is included, and the salary is highly competitive. Responsibilities would include:

* Performing and reviewing traffic and comprehensive transportation planning studies

* Evaluating traffic signals, corridors and complex transportation systems

* Developing and implementing travel demand management (TDM) programs, neighborhood plans, and traffic calming measures

* Designing traffic and multi-modal transportation systems (bus transit, rail, and other high capacity transit systems

* Performing service analysis and writing traffic impact studies

 

Qualifications:


Our ideal candidate would possess a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or related Transportation degree), a PE license and at least 5 years of experience in the Transportation Engineering industry.
