JOB INFORMATION Company: US Airways Location: NC Job Category: Logistics/Transportation Industry: Travel, Transportation and Tourism Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years CONTACT INFORMATION Red ID: IRC28492 Tower Lead Agent - CLT Job Posting Titlet('12') IRC28492Job Titlet('12') Tower Lead AgentOrganization Namet('12') US AIRWAYSDepartment Descriptiont('12') ACS -  CLTt('12')  Detailed Descriptiont('12') Provide planning, communication and operational direction to all departments in the Hub and support to OCC.  Research and record pertinent flight data and information regarding the daily operation.  Acquire and maintain all hub controller positions; i.e. ramp control, gate control, ramp coordinator, connection coordinator, arrival radio / FLIFO input / times radio, and flight monitor.  Gather and disseminate operational information to all areas.  Plann and prepare for each complex to give direction to all areas of customer service.  Follow through with the successful execution of planned and unplanned operations.  Consider all relevant information to track, determine and accurately recordflights and operational  information.  Provide answers and direction in a variety of situations to all areas of the operation and vendors.  Initiate and execute plans to provide on-time departures, baggage performance reliability and excellent customer service.  Emergency situation coordination and notification for medical, hazmat and security situation.  Perform any other duties as needed by the operation or as directed by the hub Tower Manager.  Conduct on-the-job-training on a regular basis.Job Requirementst('12') v Minimum one year ramp or passenger service experience or equivalent.v Detailed knowledge of all operational computer and communication programsv Excellent basic math skills.v Understand and clearly communicate using the English language.v High School Diploma.v Ability to work in fast-paced, high stress environment handling critical situations with accuracy and skillv Leadership capabilities including effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.v Proven ability to lead others to achieve business results.v Ability to interact with numerous departments and levels of management.v Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately. Preferred Requirements (In Priority Order) v Minimum three years of airport operational experiencev Proficient in the following systems:  Gate Manager, QIK, Sabre DECS, MS Excel and Word.v Familiar with ATC Ground Control Language.v College Degree.
