Sr Material Rep

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

High school diploma/GED. Six (6) years inventory control, warehousing or material planning experience, preferably in an aircraft related environment.Knowledge of FAA, IPC, IATA, DOT, hazardous materials and other applicable regulatory requirements. Knowledge of data processing/computer use as itrelates to inventory control. Ability to complete dangerous goods training. Good communications skills. Ability to work unsupervised and work variableshifts. Ability to travel. Ability to lift 75 pounds and maneuver any singlecontainer up to 3,000 pounds with appropriate equipment and assistance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Addresses and resolves material/logistics concerns for all users/ customers in a professional manner.

Provides training to both internal and external customers on proper field stores procedures.

Monitors actual inventory demands at field stores locations to recognize unforecasted usage and identify potential stock outs. Responsible for receipt of items from vendors and distributionwarehousing in support of field stores operations.

Performs routine and special inventory counts and perpetual shelf life inspections, and assists with proper handling and storage of hazardous materials for area stations of responsibility.

Coordinates/documents the exchange of materials between FedEx and external customers.

Provides interface with other departments to represent field stores as it pertains to local material concerns.

Coordinates/documents movement of required materials between field stores locations and customers/users. Supports critical failures/AOG's with the most expeditious and cost effective manner possible.

Maintains inventories at domiciles field stores locations in a neat, orderly and accurate manner. Executes the record accuracy program at field locations.Job Level: 6 yearsPercent Travel: Up to 25%
