Sr. Air Traffic Controller – Houston, TX, Will provide support to various



Air

Traffic

Control

Centers, TRACON Towers, and ATS Headquarters and Regional Offices.Will support in the development of site implementation and transition planning for National and Regional, Facilities and Equipment, and Capital Investment Plan Projects. Support and assist in identifying, analyzing, coordinating, resolving, and reporting the resolution of implementation issues generated by such projects. Develop letters of agreement with airports and airport customers (e.g. standard taxi routes). Develop procedural changes for Air Traffic Control Towers. Write, coordinate, and brief changes to local orders. Conduct research and analyze operational trends to assist in operational error reduction. Create Safety Risk Management documents and participate in Runway Safety Action Team meetings and activities. Analyze impact and develop air traffic mitigations for airport construction and gas well activity. Assist in development of contingency plans.

Required Qualifications: FAA experience REQUIRED Must be familiar with FAA Houston area air traffic system (HAATS) highly desired. Minimum of ten (10) years experience as a certified full performance level Air Traffic Controller (ATC) in either civilian or military environment. Minimum of ten (10) years experience in operational environment such as an Enroute Air Traffic Control Facility, a terminal (TRACON/TOWER), or a Flight Service Station (FSS). Must be eligible to work in the and pass FAA security screening. Must have airspace development and airspace reclassification and charting process background. Must be familiar with MS Office products and Adobe Acrobat.
