GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provide quality assessment analysis of transportation operations; supervise service assessment specialists.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develops schedules of service assessment specialists. Assigns work (special assignment and routine). Hires, supervises and evaluates service assessment specialists. Monitors the activities of service assessment specialists. Conducts research to enhance the collection and analyzing of quality assessment data. Maintains quality assessment database. Trains service assessment specialists. Assists in developing and monitoring program budget. Assists in preparing presentation materials. Analyzes quality assessment data and prepares written reports.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Note: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications.Bachelors degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Planning, or a related field. Four (4) years of experience in passenger transportation operations including two (2) years of passenger transportation supervisory experience. Proficient using PC and software applications. Analytical and creative skills to find solutions to problems of limited complexity. Written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels, both inside and outside of DART.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to Mgr, Transportation *
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in an environment where there is minimum exposure to dust, noise, or temperature. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting DART's operating facilities, assuming incumbent is observing all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and using all protective clothing and devices provided.
