Regional Trucking Safety Manager

To advise, audit, and monitor activities related to safety within a medium sized trucking/logistics corporation headquartered in Birmingham, Al.Develop and implement activities and programs to instill a safe environment and mindset among employees.  Investigate serious accidents to determine cause and liability. Manage Worker’s Compensation cases to help employee minimize time off the job and assist in their recovery and return to work. Knowledge of DOT rules and regualtions required. This position reports to the VP of Human Resources and Safety.
