Job Summary The Operations Specialist provides clerical and administrative support to Environment & Safety Managers. This position assists in coordinating all aspects of daily operations, including recording and reporting data. The Operations Specialist also assists in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. * Assist and Prepare for site audits. * Maintain CYCLE data base. * Communicates with other supervisors and managers about operations. * Maintain MSDS data entry and File System * Uses software tools to manage a variety of tasks, such as safety incidents. * Assists with data collection. * Reconcile Pcard Purchases. * Assists in maintaining Environmental Files. * Assists in the implementation of operational projects as needed. * Complete and maintain 24 hour HazMat training * Performs other duties as assigned. III. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory duties. IV. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. A. Education and Experience Required: High school diploma or G.E.D. Preferred: Proficiency using computer applications to record, analyze, and report information. Work experience in the waste, environmental services, energy, or transportation industry. B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements None required. C.
