Logistics Broker
Large, nationwide transportation company is seeking qualified candidates to fill a
Transportation Broker/Customer Service Rep.
position at our home office in Nashville, TN.
Must have a Logistics background
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Secure third party capacity for all loads originating in your assigned market
2. Extensive rate negotiation on a daily basis.
3. Responsible for a large group of carriers. Will need to understand their freight needs, desired flows as well as managing service Schneider Brokerage
4. Source new carriers to add to our carrier base. Ensure the carrier has proper operating authority and insurance as well as understand the carriers freight needs.
