POSITION SUMMARY:

The Enrichment Program Manager (EPM) supports the Product Development and Guest Programs Department by establishing, implementing and maintaining effective Guest Enrichment Programs delivery processes,  including but not limit to: itinerary start-up and shut down, Guest Lecturer recruitment, contact and arrangements, Guest Lecturer contracts, Enrichment Program resources update and maintenance, and other projects as assigned.


MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDE:

* Recruit and schedule all guest lecturers and special guests.
* Develop and maintain guest lecturers database. Establish and maintain "Tier Level" system.
* Maintain and process guest lecturer contracts and files.
* Monitor and maintain guest lecturer budget.
* Monitor and analyze Enrichment Program ratings; maximize results.
* Serve as liaison between Guest Programs and Marketing for all cruises, including theme cruises. 
* Source and schedule enrichment lecturers for theme cruises.
* Manage the On-board logistics of any Special Event or Themed cruises.  Liaise with vessels for themed programming needs.
* Process travel arrangements for guest lecturers, including submitting travel requests to Corporate Travel.
* Create and maintain a system for tracking current materials and resources related to enrichment programs.
* Develop and implement regular itinerary start-up and shut-down plans. These plans should include changeover of enrichment program materials, technical itineraries and library items .
* Source and/or generate guest enrichment program materials as required. Create and maintain an inventory of department collateral items. Ensure items are reordered with appropriate lead times.
* Research and resolve day-to-day filed or departmental inquiries (payroll, invoicing, etc) for guest lecturers.
* Provide general support to department personnel as needed. Serve as a back-up for traveling personnel.
* Using the planning calendars as a guide, develop and update a master product development calendar to ensure that work is completed as needed. This master product development calendar should be communicated and updated regularly.


QUALIFICATIONS:

* BS degree in arts or sciences required. Experience working in a travel related field preferred.
* Superior organization skills and an ability to work on multiple projects required.
* Excellent writing skills including correspondence, instructional materials, and product information that persuades and excites.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and research information with limited direction required. 
* Verbal communication skills to inform and negotiate with external partners and internal staff required. Candidate must have a track record of building and maintaining positive relationships.
* Responsible for planning and performing own work involving diversified duties within well-defined objectives. 
* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite products with an emphasis on Power Point, Word, Excel and Access. 
* Must be willing to travel up to 25% of time.
