GENCO has an immediate opening for a Systems Administrator for our 450,000 sq. ft. distribution center located in Graniteville, SC. Facility operates with 52 teammates.
The position is responsible for:Supervising employees.Acting as liaison between GENCO and customer to resolve systems related issues and enhancements.Working with the Operations Management to provide the required systems training/knowledge.Monitoring systems activities to ensure that all interfaces (general systems) are working as required.Generating/monitoring systems reports as required by Operations.Hardware, software, network trouble-shooting.Preparing and reconciling required production and inventory reports.PC set-up and troubleshooting.Systems training to end users.Providing assistance for the General Manager on special projects as required.
Required Skills
The successful candidate will have:One (1) to two (2) years of previous experience delivering training to end users at a non-technical level.Two (2) to four (4) years of IT-related working experience with emphasis on networking and general systems.SAP experience a real plus.Experience in DLx/Red Prairie a plus.Manhattan Systems experience required.Familiarity with WMS systems, DM Plus experience a plus.Intermediate level of proficiency in the use of DOS, UNIX, and Windows operating systems.Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, both wired and wireless.Proven ability to work with all levels of management (GENCO and customer) and hourly employees.Ability to understand customer systems and related interfaces.Ability to provide professional and comprehensive reports, both written and oral.Working Knowledge of thermal and laser printer operations and functionality.Ability to set up general E-Mail/SMTP.Ability to troubleshoot Printer and Hardware issues.
