Senior Financial Analyst (Manager--see below)

The actual title here is Financial Planning and Analysis Manager however there are no reports to this position and this is a hands on "doer" postion as this a relatively small company.  Our client is a $200M transportation and logistics company that has it's HQ in Downtown Houston.  The CFO is a long time client of ours and has asked us to find him a well educated and "fast track" person.  You should have 3-5 years of experience as well as a mentality that finance "drives" the organization and doesn't just "keep track".  That's the way the CFO thinks.

Specifics: 

* preparing the management financial statements of the company worldwide,
* coordinating and consolidating the financial forecasts,
* coordinating the publishing of monthly financial package to the Board and Executive staff,
* providing high-level business analysis,
* coordinating and consolidating the expenses budgets,
* providing budgeting and expense tracking for the G&A departments,
* developing the long-term (5-year) financial forecast and capital budget.
 
 
Requirements:
1. Ability to independently lead forecasting processes
2. Experience with financial consolidations
3. Presentation skills including creating financial reporting packages
4. Experience with enterprise reporting systems
5. An exceptional standard of quality involving attention to detail, organization, thoughtful analysis, problem solving and accountability for excellent results
6. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
7. Advanced knowledge of Excel and the ability to work comfortably with other programs in Microsoft Office
8. MBA is desired
