Program Manager

Regal Logistics, one of the country’s top 100 3PL’s is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our growing team.  The incumbent will be responsible for technical and overall program performance enabling Regal Logistics to translate customer requirements into services as well as contributing improvements to current processes and strategies.  Duties include defining and managing project scope for key capabilities of the product, and delivering against the plan; identifying and managing program risks, issues, dependencies and working to mitigate the risks and prevent the issues from negatively impacting the program; performing database analysis and design; writing SQL queries, storing procedures and triggers; establishing project communication plans and managing relationships with customers and stakeholders; and implementing strategies and tactics to track program scope, schedule, budget, and return on investment. Requirements include a BA or BS degree in Computer Science or other related field and a minimum of 2 years program management experience; proven experience providing SQL server capacity planning data and recommendations; strong knowledge of relational database, ERP systems and programming; proven experience shipping high quality software on schedule; knowledge of capacity planning methodologies; knowledge of web technologies; excellent database modeling and testing skills; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; and strong interpersonal and decision making skills.
