PostgreSQL Database/Linux Administrator.
The U-Haul Technical Center is looking for a PostgreSQL Database/Linux Administrator.
Responsibilities Include:
Perform PostgreSQL database administration and administrate the Centos Linux environment the PostgreSQL database is operating on.
Work with in-house team to synchronize PostgreSQL database with other U-Haul systems.
Work within the open source community to solve problems and enhance application and database functionalities.
Experience: 3yrs of any data base administration including at least 1yr of PostgreSQL administration.
Experience in server performance and database optimization for large volume transactional database(s).
Experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server environments a plus.
