Position Purpose

The Operations Center Supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of operations for his/her facilities.

 

Key AccountabilitiesMeeting or exceeding customer requirements.  This position requires a person who embraces customer service with a passion.Leading a team(s) of Information Center Specialists (Warehouse Specialists) and Couriers, and Team Leaders in all service lines within the market.  Driving high standards throughout the organization.Executing logistics operations flawlessly and obtaining “Perfect Orderâ€� status.  Ensuring every order is complete and on time.Maintaining adherence to Recall Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Leading organization to obtain all key performance indicators (KPI's) such as Profit Margin %, Asset Utilization, Service Level Status, and Productivity Levels.Managing numerous projects (capital expansion, system conversions, corporate initiatives, etc.) from launch through implementation Mentoring and coaching all market and Information Center personnel Conduct performance evaluations and reviews for direct reports.Become a master of ReQuest Assist in facility management including building shell, racking, fire code compliance Fleet management Risk management including safety, SOP compliance, fire code compliance and OSHA operating practices.

Minimum Requirements

-  Proven leadership experience required.  Must have a track record of success leading teams of individuals.  Must be an “A Player.â€�

-  Aggressive about career growth. This position is designed for leaders who want to progress on a fast-track career.

-  Must have a bachelor’s degree from a top school, strong GPA.  Engineering or other technical degree preferred.

-  Operations experience required, logistics experience preferred.

-  Project management experience preferred.

-  Ability to determine optimal solutions to complex problems, issues.

-  Flexibility to adapt to change in an aggressive, high-growth company.

-  Experience in managing people at various levels is required, (hourly, salaried, management, peers)

 

Additional Requirements:

 

-Must be able to support the sales team with account calls when requiring operational input and support.

-Ability to manage a fast paced, high activity market is required.
