Responsible for inventory planning, tracking, purchasing, and receiving, through the analysis, implementation and use of inventory management systems for (4) public warehouse facilitiesCreate and maintain price lists for products in inventoryEnsure systems and programs are sufficient to meet company's inventory needs. Independently develop strategies and tactics for improving operation efficiencies while improving service levels and reducing inventory levels as well as operation costs.Logistics liaison for truckload, LTL, and international shipments Maintain hazard material shipping certification for domestic and international shipmentsPrepare international documents for air and ocean shipmentsThe application and implementation of computer record keeping systems, accounting and billing procedures, and perpetual inventory systems. Strong written and interpersonal skills with customers, co-workers, and vendors in face-to-face one-on-one settings using a telephone or e-mail.
