Growing nationwide transportation company seeks Intermodal Business Development Professional!

Position Responsibilities:

 

Manage sales, operations, and customers. Direct the strategic business development initiatives to grow the Company’s intermodal sales and operations.  Build and maintain rail and customer relationships through account management, cold calling, prospecting, and business development leads.Use selling and negotiation skills to meet and exceed Company business development and sales targets.Become knowledgeable about the Company in order to sell Company services. Represent the Company in a professional manner.  Communicate effectively with management, co-workers, and customers. 



Position Qualifications:

 

3 – 5 years intermodal experience with a 3PL or an IMC. Bachelor’s degree preferred.Exhibits working knowledge of all segments of the intermodal transportation industry and operations. Desires a fast paced, high intensity environment.Competitive and driven to succeed.High initiative and high energy.Possesses rail industry qualifications and contacts.  Impeccable follow-through and commitment to quality service.Strong verbal, written & persuasive communication skills. Proven independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
