Fuel Island Attendant

Scully Transportation Services, Inc., a leading provider of transportation solutions including Dedicated Contract Carriage, Full Service Leasing, Contract Maintenance, and Rental Services, is looking for a motivated candidate to join our team in the position of Fuel Island Attendant in our Phoenix, AZ shop.

 

You will operate a fuel service island at the shop, fueling Class A and Class B trucks, conducting 7-point safety inspections of all equipment, wash equipment as required, drive the company service truck and other company vehicles within the yard. Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR required.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:  Fuel Equipment  Conduct 7 point safety inspection of all equipment while at Service Island  Identify maintenance faults  Verify proper tire air pressure and tire deficiencies  Notify Branch Foreman, Lead Technician and or Service Manager of equipment safety problems to prevent unsafe equipment operation

  f. Dispense vehicle fluids as required. Account for fluid consumption.

  g.  Operate Company Forklift

h.  Wash vehicles as required

  i. Conduct general clean up as required

  j. Customer & branch communication

  k.  Safety Communication, Administration & Training

  l. Properly conduct check in and check out rental inspections in accordance with Company SOP.

  m. Ensure all rental damage (in-bound & out-bound) is properly documented. 

  n.  Ensure units turned in with damage are parked on the out of service line and leadership is informed.

  o.  Conduct Fuel Island Certification and Validation Exercise Annually.

g.  Fuel Island Certification (Conducted within initial 90 days, annually)

h. Safety Certification (Conducted first day of service, annually)

i. Tire Certification (Conducted within initial 90 days, annually)

j. Forklift Certification (Conducted within initial 90 days, annually)

k. Rental certification (Conducted within initial 90 days, annually
