Field Sampling/Sample Receiving Technician

ESS Laboratory is seeking an entry level, Environmental Field Sampling/Sample Receiving, Technician, for our Cranston RI laboratory. Candidate should possess a minimum of a high school diploma. Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills are required, along with a strong work ethic and self-motivation. The responsibilities include:

- Collect environmental field samples in accordance with established protocols at various industrial and or municipal sites.

- Receive in coming samples including sample log-in (entry) into a computerized Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)

Requirements:

- Able to lift up to 50 pounds

- Valid drivers license

- Some overtime required

Will train, Starting Salary $12 ro $14 per hour
