The DC Supervisor (this opportunity is located in Waco, TX) establishes daily production goals within the distribution center and monitors performance.   The DC Supervisor’s responsibilities include:·  Research and analyze the design and development of the distribution center processes including quality, safety, cost reduction, and overall operations to support process improvement. ·  Assist in the training and cross training of new team members on distribution processes, procedures and equipment.  ·  Monitor and develop daily production goals for team members. Coach team members to achieve goals.·  Identify problems and recommend changes. Assist Operations Manager in problem resolution pertaining to production, standard operating procedures, safety and quality. ·  Serve on cross-functional corporate teams as needed.·  Perform other duties as assigned.   Requirements:·  Work in a physical environment that is subject to temperature extremes, movement of mobile and fixed equipment, and other conditions associated with a warehouse operation.·  Demonstrate an ability to lead and develop people, possessing excellent communication skills and a strong leadership background. ·  Working knowledge of personal computers MS Office, Word, Excel and SAP software. ·  Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks.  ·  Flexible and willing to take direction.·  Ability and willingness to work alternative shifts. Preferred:  ·  A Bachelor’s Degree in Business with an emphasis in Logistics and/or Industrial Engineering.·  Minimum 3 years previous supervisory experience with a multi-shift distribution center. ·  Technical experience in a logistics environment including; process flow, cost efficiencies, safety and training.·  Knowledge of warehouse management systems, SAP/Vocollect and RF systems.     Contact Email: Apply by Email Privacy Statement An equal opportunity employer.
