Costing Analyst

Wilson Trucking currently has an opening for a Costing Analyst who will report to the Pricing Manager.  This position will be domiciled in Fishersville, VA.  Fishersville is in the Shenandoah Valley about 30 miles southwest of Harrisonburg and 35 miles west of Charlottesville, VA.  Successful candidate will maintain the costing model and perform various analyses for upper management.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The successful candidate may be required to work in all aspects of costing, including the following:

 Provide data and analysis as required for executive decisionsDetermine profitability of potential and existing customersMaintain and update cost related systems and databases.Other projects as necessary.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 Four year degree, preferably in business.Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Windows, Excel, and Word.  Must be trainable in use of TCG costing system.  Must be able to learn mainframe capabilities in order to diagnose problems and communicate with programming department to resolve them.Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to interact with people at all levels.Favorable driving record and criminal background check, and must pass drug screen.  General knowledge of LTL trucking, with successful pricing, costing, W&I, or terminal supervisory experience desirable.
