Aggregate Delivery Professional

Job Description U. S. Concrete Alliance Hauler Aggregate Truck Delivery Professional Job Summary Responsible for the loading and delivery of sand, stone and other associated products to ready mix concrete plants in a safe and efficient manner. This position is paid 25% of each gross load delivered. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels and tire pressure; obtaining or scheduling required repairs; validating adherence to roadability standards in accordance with DOT regulations Loads truck with aggregate materials including sand and stone Delivers items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the truck; maintaining schedule. Discharge material via end dump trailer and driving in and out of areas with heavy pedestrian traffic and various construction obstacles. Maintains truck operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; scheduling repairs. Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; cleans truck exterior and interior. Maintains delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments; recording tracking information; completing driver log and truck performance forms. Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

Qualifications Must be 21 years if age due to anticipated interstate routing. Minimum of one-year directly related experience required. High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid Class B or A CDL and appropriate state driver license. No more than 3 moving violations in the past three years, with no alcohol or drug related offenses, such as DUI or DWI.
