Sr. Contracts Manager The Purchasing/Contracts Manager in the Enterprise Procurement Organization will work closely with Legal in establishing contracts and supplier agreements. The position will work cross-functionally to establish contracts with new and incumbent suppliers in support of corporate Contract Policy. The position is also a strategic sourcing role, focused on the entire indirect spending of the organization.  The position is responsible for leveraging the company's spend and volume with national suppliers, across a variety of commodities.  The role performs detailed research and analysis of current spending, conducts research on potential suppliers and is responsible for preparing national RFP's / RFQ's as well as negotiating national contracts.  Position  Some overnight travel required.   Job Qualifications:   Solid procurement, negotiating, project management, contract negotiation, contract creation, contract execution, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills required.  5+ years in Supply Chain or related field. Strong background in driving projects cross departmentally. BA or comparable work experience required and C.P.M. preferred. Proficiency in Windows suite of office tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented and very organized.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Primary responsibility for negotiating strategic national agreements, supporting the enterprise. Partner with Legal in the creation and execution of contracts to support strategic partnerships with suppliers. Ongoing contract management, ensuring compliance to contract with both internal T-Mobile users as well as with the supplier. Primary point of contact for select commodities within indirect spending. Review and analyze spending data from companies ERP systems and other databases for potential cost savings opportunities. Work with internal departments in identifying areas for focusing strategic sourcing efforts. Manage the change process with any supplier and / or process change. Ongoing commodity management, ensuring T-Mobile's total cost (cost, quality, service) is being leveraged to its fullest degree.  Skills/Competencies:  Solid procurement skills, including excellent negotiating skills.
