Retail Sales Specialist Roanoke Description:Position Summary: This position is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding targeted sales goals in a face to face environment while delivering unparalleled customer service to Cox customers visiting or calling our Digital Store. Requirements include acquiring new customers, selling, upgrading, and retaining existing customers in order to attain established retail sales goals. Also responsible for contributing to the achievement of system and departmental quality goals by maximizing operational efficiency & handling a variety of customer requests i.e.; billing /order inquiries, processing payments, issuing equipment, and explaining payment options in a professional manner. As a Retail Sales Specialist, your target salary is $33,000 (base commission) with the potential to earn substantially more based on sales performance. Interested candidates must be able to work between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday-Friday and 8-12 on Saturday.Position Duties: - Maximize each sales opportunity by selling products offered by Cox Communications to new and existing customers ensuring sales goals are consistently met. - Demonstrate an expert level of understanding in our various products and services to ensure an accurate description is provided to customers ensuring quality sales and retention. - Perform multiple order entry functions for all products and services, billing system, and consistent use of all online resources contributing to accurate and timely customer transactions. - Maintaining daily payment batch in compliance with audit guidelines. This includes the balancing and security of a cash drawer at all times and accurate customer payment processing. - Follow through on all customer transactions in an accurate and timely manner. - Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Core Success Factors, company policies, and office procedures. - Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: - See well enough to read terminal and reports. - Hear and speak well enough to converse on telephone and monitor telephone. - Manual dexterity to operate keyboard and other office equipment. - Stand for long periods of time. - Ability to lift 30 lbs.
