The Business Account Executive is responsible for acquiring new business customers for Comcast's Business Class Internet, TV and Digital Voice service(s). This position develops leads, contacts prospects, makes appointments and closes the opportunities. Contact cold and warm prospects through a combination of telephone and in person calls to obtain appointments. Assist customers and prospects in attaining their goals through proper utilization of Company products and services to ensure goodwill between customers and Comcast.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales of Comcast Commercial Internet, Video and Voice services to small and mid-size businesses.
Generation of new leads with targeted businesses through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships.
Create and perform face-to-face sales presentations to match Comcast products and services with identified customer needs.
Management of defined Territory to include development of local business partnerships and organizational affiliations and local enhancement of Comcast positioning and brand.
Understand all aspects of Comcast's broadband services including all features and functionalities, as well as equipment and installation to facilitate sales efforts.
Achieve and exceed assigned sales and business quality objectives.
Maintain sales record keeping and prepare sales and activity reports as required.
Adherence to all company standards and business professionalism.
Generate business to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
Monitor competitive activity and market conditions, providing feedback and suggestions to management regarding new product additions and deletions.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, customer entertainment activities, sales meetings, training programs, and conferences as directed
Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Supervisor or Sales Manager.
Required Skills:
Education:
B.A. or B.S. Degree preferably in Business or Sales and Marketing, or the recognized equivalent in work experience and self-study.
Miminum Qualifications:
12 to 24 months of business-to-business outside sales experience preferred and successful track record.
Self starter with excellent time management and business sales competencies.
Technical aptitude and strong knowledge of computers and the internet.
Excellent writing skills as well as strong persuasive abilities and negotiating skills.
Proficient in MS Excel and MS.
