Recruiting Assistant
Placement Pros, the commercial division of Vedior North America (3rd largest staffing organization in the world) is accepting resumes for a Recruiting Assistant located in Redmond, WA.
Job Duties : Answering telephone calls, Scheduling meetings, Making travel arrangements, Perform various administrative duties, Organize department events, Type and proof read correspondence, Assist with posting requisitions, Ensure candidate job files are complete, Generate reports, Prepare offer letters and packets, Professionally interact with individuals at all levels including executive management.
Position Description: This position provides primary support to the talent acquisition team as well as outside project support for the greater Human Resource department. Independently perform complex specialized function-related administrative tasks.
Position Responsibilities: Coordinates all aspects of new hire onboarding process including background investigation, drug screen scheduling and results coordination. Creates and maintains employment/Team Member files. Processes employment paperwork that is in compliance with company policy and local, state and Federal law (included, but not limited to new hire paperwork, and post-hire requests with HROC). Schedules interviews with candidates (phone or in-person). Includes all initial and follow up communication (written and verbal). Delegates scheduling to departmental administrative staff as needed. Generates, modifies and updates various reports including but not limited to headcount, open requisition status, turnover statistics and other ad hoc reports as needed for the human resources staff and management team, while maintaining confidentiality of data as appropriate. Responsible for all print and electronic job postings. Coordinates all recruiting events. Includes interface with local, regional and national colleges and professional organizations. Orders collateral, giveaways and attendee attire. May generate offer letters and distribute offer packages. Processes all invoice and candidate expenses. Coordination of Targeted Selection training and resources. Coordination of Summer Associate program. Including design and facilitation of events/program. Partner with corporate Targeted Schools program and participate in recruitment activities. Prepares information for New Hire orientation. Provide support to the various human resources functional areas as required including but not limited to typing, filing, meetings and appointment scheduling, and distribution of reports. Manages the ordering and assembly of interview and benefit kits and requisition folders.
Basic Qualifications KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS • Associate Degree required• 5 years of increasing responsibility in an administrative or support function • Prior experience in a Human Resources department working in recruiting/talent acqusition function • Advanced knowledge MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint. • Superior knowledge of Electronic meeting/calendar coordination specifically with MS Outlook • 2 years experience in records management • Strong working knowledge of HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems. Peopleclick a plus. • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) • Strong Organization skills • Working knowledge of the Internet • Ability to interact with a diversity of individuals at all levels • Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented • Demonstrated ability to follow processes • Ability to work with confidential information • Possess a strong commitment to company values. • Broad knowledge of company personnel policies and procedures. • Experience with employment law and processes Preferred Background Includes: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred • 2 years experience in a mid to large sized company • Familiarity with query languages Working Conditions Sit for extended periods of time. Light lifting. Normal fast-paced office environment.
