We are currently searching for a proven business development professional for the position of Director of Business Development, located in Irving, Texas.

 

Successful candidate should have 5-7 years previous business development or business–to–business sales experience.  Experience in the insurance, healthcare or fitness industry is preferred. 

 

Position responsibilities include application of full life-cycle business development methodologies and tools, including opportunity identification, qualification, positioning, competitive analysis, and related activities. Candidate will be accountable for new business results, developing and maintaining client/potential client and industry partner relationships.  The position entails interaction with senior executives at major corporations, governmental or non-profit entities across the country.

 

Additional Requirements:

 

· The incumbent must demonstrate sound business judgment, innovation in approaching business challenges and the ability to translate a strategic plan into operating results.

· Candidate must be highly motivated and results driven.

· Candidate must possess strong negotiation, organization, and presentation skills.

· Candidate must possess a 4 year college degree, MBA preferred.

· Responsibilities include representing the company at client meetings, regional and national exhibits, trade shows and conferences.

· Candidate will identify and develop business and cultivate existing client relationships by developing outstanding rapport with clients and business partners.

· Candidate with previous franchised organization experience preferred.

· Candidate must possess strong work ethic, have integrity, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
