Fitness Attendant
MIDTOWN ATHLETIC CLUBS, a division of TCA Holdings, seeks a Fitness Attendant for our upscale fitness center in Rochester, New York.Position SummaryOur Fitness Attendants are knowledgeable professionals, interested in the well-being and personal satisfaction of our members and guests. They are effective communicators and have a positive impact on the success of our club by demonstrating a genuine interest in fitness and motivating others to see its value.Our most successful Fitness Attendants:• Have previous work experience with a sports/fitness background • Have earned a degree in a health/fitness field or be working towards a related degree, and, maintain current CPR certification • Supervise all fitness activity through observation of fitness area • Provide knowledgeable instruction to members regarding workouts and equipment as directed by fitness supervisor • Monitor member workout programs as prescribed by exercise physiologist • Promote club programs and encourage registration and participation • Lead new member orientations; encourage progress in positive manner • Maintain the function, cleanliness and safety of equipment at all times • Maintain required attendance, punctuality and proper attireIf you are passionate about fitness and motivating others to feel the same, we’d love to hear from you!
