ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE GROUP SALES

Responsibilities:Assist group sales department with Sales, Ticketmaster ticket processing and client database management  Proactively cultivate new business through research, prospecting and solicitation of NY/NJ based businesses Manage inbound (phone/web) group sales inquiries and orders Conduct outbound sales efforts to support each event through e-blasts, direct mail and phone campaigns Evaluate client reactions to group sales offers, programs and maintain overall customer satisfaction Assist with group customer service at select arena and stadium events Provide additional support to other marketing department initiatives as needed Attend and effectively represent the Group Sales Department at a variety of industry trade shows; organize support materials and develop related presentations Perform miscellaneous job related clerical duties as assigned Oversee, maintain & update group sales database  Minimum Requirements:Experience in sales in the entertainment/sports field preferred Two years experience in a business environment preferred Formal education at the Bachelor’s degree level in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field preferred Must be well organized and a self starter Must have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point (experience with Access a plus) Must have strong work ethics and willing to put in the extra time and effort to maximize sales brought in (at times; weeknights and weekends are needed for event coverage) Comfortable with heavy telephone contact and working on several projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment Excellent customer service, written & verbal skills Ticketmaster/Box Office/Report Pro experience preferred
