Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position1. Develop, manage and execute surveillance operation's plans for the most sensitive CT/antiterrorism (AT), criminal investigations, and threats to the USAF, DoD, and National Security in the National Capital Region (NCR). 2. Work and train jointly with DoD and sister service surveillance teams, as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) teams when necessary. 3. Support Human Vulnerability Surveys to determine the threat and the vulnerability of DoD installations worldwide, including assisting in surveillance detection if necessary. 4. Support AFOSI defensive CT as required and assist in CT investigations, collections and operations.5. Conduct their work assignments and adhere to standards of conduct as prescribed by USAF instructions, this contract, and the law.6. Assist as needed or requested in basic office administration (i.e. answering phones/doors).7. Manage staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation and disciplinary actions.8. Other duties may be assigned to meet operational/business needs.Supervisory Responsibilities:Responsible for the overall direction, development and evaluation of the Surveillance Detection team. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or Experience Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree and three years Surveillance/Surveillance Detection experience required. With an Associated degree, five years Surveillance/Surveillance Detection experience required. Individuals without a degree must have ten years of Surveillance/Surveillance Detection experience. Attendance in the AFOIS surveillance and advanced surveillance courses or other accredited courses of equal levels. Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Mathematical Skills - Practical understanding and experience in Business Mathematics. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration and percent. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Reasoning Ability – Must know and be able to take all actions necessary to ensure compliance with all government regulations and contractual requirements. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standards exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. The ability to keep all sensitive investigative information in strict confidence and not discuss with anyone outside of the AFOSI.Computers - Must have advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and OutlookCertificates, Licenses, Registrations – Valid state drivers license and show driving record for last 3 years. Driving records may be reviewed by PM to determine if a pattern of driving misconduct is apparent.Clearance Level – TS/SCI with the ability to pass a CI poly by HQ AFOSI.Other Skills and Abilities • Must have the ability to deploy, as directed, worldwide as part of a surveillance team at the direction of AFOSI/CC.• Must have the ability to travel within, as well as outside of their local city or base of assignment commuting vicinity, as required by the Government.• Present a professional appearance and maintain professional demeanor and conduct at all times.• Function effectively and efficiently during extended periods of high pressure and stress.• Function as an integral member of a team of highly trained professionals responsible for the safety and security of USAF personnel and resources.• Must have the ability to attend agency training as needed.
