Security and Operations Manager
Position Summary: The Security Operations Manager is accountable for the protection of people and assets through the leadership, deployment, and actions of all physical security personnel across multiple sites. This position reports to the Director of Security Programs. Key Responsibilities: Manages and oversees Security Operations Supervisors and Officers Directs the accomplishment of effective and integrated strategies to mitigate risks and safeguard the organization from crime, theft, violence in the workplace, fraud and violation of local laws Leads a corporate wide physical security program and ensure plans and activities meet operating requirements Effectively administers key human resources processes for personnel including career development, training, salary administration, recruiting, and performance management Participates in the preparation, maintenance and execution of emergency response plans for all Go Daddy facilities. This includes, but is not limited to required responses for bomb threats, power outages, medical emergencies and natural disasters Coordinates with other Business Units as necessary to provide security and investigation expertise Works with the Security System Manager to ensure personnel are equipped with, and trained on security systems, including access control and video surveillance. Design and conduct periodic drills to ensure facilities and security staff members are prepared to respond to different situations/events Develop and maintain effective relationships with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time Qualifications: 5+ years experience in law enforcement and/or corporate security, with 3 or more years leading subordinate staff Strong knowledge of corporate security issues and practices Working knowledge of safety regulations, applicable federal, state and local building codes Working knowledge of life safety and fire prevention practices Proven leadership skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience working with access control and video surveillance systems Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel Certified Protection Professional (CPP) is a plus PSP (Physical Security Professional) Certification is a plus Working with multiple locations and 24x7 operations is a plus We offer a competitive salary + bonus, 100% employer-paid medical and dental coverage, three weeks of paid vacation plus two paid personal days available in your first year of employment, an exceptional 401(k) package, and a generous educational assistance program, among numerous other benefits.
