Inside Sales Call Center Representative Description:SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Call Center Representative position contributes to meeting the sales goals and objectives of the department while providing exceptional service over the phone. The Sales Representative is the first point of contact between our organization and our future customers. Generates sales and leads for new security system installs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:* Effectively handle sales calls to qualify leads and sell security systems in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.* Contacts prospects provided by alliance partners and convert them into satisfied Brink's Home Security customers* Promotes and sells products, services and/or related accessories through proven sales techniques to meet and surpass departmental goals* Use pre-established guidelines to sell security systems, promote products and services, as well as overcome objections and convert opportunities to customers * Understands and supports sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all customers* Obtain information for credit check procedures as well as obtain a prepayment on most sales over the telephone* Contact cancellations and attempt to reschedule the installation date* Collect vital information for the marketing department to track marketing source and discount promotion codes * Provide potential customers with relevant information including, but not limited to, product features and benefits, pricing and additional system information* Acquires and maintains the technical and professional knowledge and skills required to effectively meet and/or exceed departmental objectives* Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisorQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual must be able to exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to solve problems while exhibiting good judgement and a realistic understanding of issues. The individual must be able to follow policies and procedures, and show team building and leadership skills. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma. Previous sales/call center experience preferred.OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:Proficiency with computer hardware components and software packages.LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, prospects, customers, and the public.Ability to speak multiple languages desirable.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including monetary units.REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
