Electronic Security Technician
About the Company:
Security 2000, Inc installs, maintains and troubleshoots high end, high security, alarm, access control and CCTV systems for the Department of Defense and other customers.
Job Responsibilities:
A technician physically installs control panels, motion sensors, door sensors and like devices.
A technician will connect low voltage electronic components, signal wiring, and data transmission media.
A technician supports engineers and assists senior technician with installation duties.
Good working knowledge of Windows based PC is preferred.
Basic electronic theory including low voltage (12V) is required.
A general understanding of audio modem and fiber optic communication is a plus.
The right candidate will be able to communicate well with both supervisors as well as end customers.
Prospective employee must be self motivated and able to work in a small group on large projects with little direct supervision.
Ability to obtain a DOD security clearance is mandatory.
Drivers License Required.
