A National Security Consulting Firm headquartered in downtown Manhattan. This position requires the following skills and abilities: Thorough understanding of internet TCP/IP protocols and structure including IRC networks Knowledge of firewalls, VPN, remote access and multi-factor authentication protocols Intimate knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange server Basic understanding of encryption protocols from the server side, notebook and mobile devices Ability to identify viruses, worms and malware activity Knowledgeable in basic scripting languages including VB, PERL, C, Bourne Shell or Awk Knowledgeable in most major operating systems such as Linux (several flavors), Windows Server, Windows XP, Windows Mobile, OSX, AIX Familiarity with hacking tools and techniques Familiarity with penetration testing techniques, both physical and virtual Ability to multi-task is a necessary.
