To learn more about the company, visit our website at www.kratosdefense.com.  Job Summary:The Security Service Technician will provide service repairs and preventative maintenance procedures to HVAC control systems including controllers, networks and peripheral devices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Troubleshoot complex security systems Understand Lenel programming and troubleshoot software Understand basic networking and secondary network functions (i.e. Wifi, 10/100, LAN, WAN etc) Communicate with customers and convey issue’s in a clear manner Field Engineering/troubleshootingEducation and Experience: 3 years or more of experience in Service, commissioning, startup or supervising the installation of Lenel Access and Video control systems Electrical troubleshooting techniques Understand basic security equipment functions Good oral and written communication skills Workstation skills Programming comprehension Ability to read and understand blue printsOther Qualifications: Ability to maintain confidentiality Comfortable in a self-directed environment Ability to multi-task Flexibility to work under aggressive time schedules Ability to identify resources to verify information and communicate effectively
