Compensation:

Manager Trainee $21.00/hr (promotable to Store Manager 60K - 80K)

Shift Manager $15.00/hr (Full and Part Time)

Cashier $11.25/hr (Full and Part Time)

Job Functions of a Manager Trainee include: 

 ·Staff Development, Budget Projecting, Scheduling, Customer Service, Inventory Control, Stocking and Cashiering.

· Leadership characteristics including aptitude to lead a sales team, multi-tasking, and the ability to manage sales and the business.

· Superior interpersonal and communication skills.

· Knowledge of and ability to interpret and/or apply Aldi store operating policies and procedures.

· Ability to supervise store personnel by guiding performance to assure the quality and completion of work assignments.


Job Functions of Shift Manager and Cashier include:

·  Manages the store in conjunction with the store priorities to present a desirable image of ALDI.

·  Assists Store Manager with the training, development, and performance of store personnel.

·  Supports management in the achievement of controllable expense goals.

. Assists in the achievement of store productivity and inventory goals.

. Assures adherence to cash policies and procedures to minimize cash loss.



Requirements

Requirements for the positions include:

·  At least 18 years old with high school diploma or GED.

·  Must be reliable, ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings and weekends.

·  May be required to handle and sell alcoholic beverages, and meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

·  Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights.

·  Pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
