We are looking for a business-savvy Senior Administrative Assistant to support the Merchandising product managers at our headquarters in Kent, WA. This position is responsible for supporting the Product Management Team with proactive administrative services. The administrative responsibilities will include composing, proofing, and releasing correspondence, memos, minutes, documentation and other materials, handle sensitive and confidential information, facilitating weekly Product Manager meetings; and assisting with organization of trade show attendees' registrations, schedules, and meeting materials. Additional responsibilities include coordinating the seasonal assortment surveys between the Product and Retail Store Managers. Develop and produce presentation and report materials; and generate and mail monthly, quarterly, and yearly vendor sales recaps. Enter salary and changes in to the HR database, and coordinate and compile Specialty Shop performance reviews. Provide orientation and basic training in Merchandising processes to new Specialty Shop employees. If you'd like to be rewarded for initiative, effort, and creative thought, come join us! * 5+ yrs of administrative support experience, supporting multiple managers and working cross -divisions a plus. * Proven ability to work in a busy environment, meeting multiple, simultaneous deadlines for different team members. * Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook, comfortable and confident in working with new software/technology. * Excellent communication skills, dealing with the public and internal REI departments, and utilize tact and discretion at all times. * Ability to work independently with a minimum of direction or supervision. * Demonstrated work methods that ensure accuracy, maximize productivity, properly prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines with consistency. * Ability to work in a professional and corporate environment with confidential information.
