Job Summary:

 

The position of Retail Service Representative will require traveling to different locations working a flexible schedule. The majority of work will be performed weekdays inside home improvement stores. In this role you will be responsible for performing basic merchandising tasks including: set maintenance, labeling, signage, packout of merchandise, culling, resetting product, and executing in store projects.  This person will service multiple stores a day on a designated route and must have the ability to interact with store management and staff, to suggest order quantities for lumber products. The hourly wage for this position is $10.00-$14.00.  Gasoline reimbursement is available for qualified travel.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

•           Merchandising

•           Use of hand tools

•           Placement of new product, displays, and signage

•           Consistent lifting of 50 lbs.

•           Climbing ladders, bending and stooping

•           Disassembly of merchandise sets

 

Successful candidates will have:

 

•           Merchandising experience

•           Ability to read and follow a planogram

•           Ability to work well in a team environment and independently

•           Reliable transportation

•           Willingness to follow the direction of the District Manager for the territory.

•           Basic computer skills including Internet access

•           Excellent organization and planning skills

•           Ability to meet territory coverage demands and qualifications

 

 

Insurance Requirements:

 

All employees that use their personal car to get to and from work are required to provide Signature Retail Services with evidence of insurance and agree in writing to keep this insurance current throughout employment.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to operate a computer, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours in retail environment; sit; reach with hands and arms; read, talk and hear, be able to climb a ladder, count and perform basic mathematic functions; sort, organize, and assemble things according to written instructions; lifting up to 50 lbs. to move stock or displays from the stock room and overhead storage areas to selling floor.
